During these changing times, with COVID-19 as a rapidly escalating public health concern, I am meeting the community's need for social distancing by offering online video sessions for new and existing clients within the state of Colorado.
At this time, all therapy sessions with me will take place on a HIPAA-compliant secure video platform (which is luckily free and simple to use for clients!). This feels like the right decision at this unique time, so that we can take good care of each others' health and the health of our community, and still get the support from counseling that is so needed at a time like this. Online video therapy is an effective, convenient way to get support from home – whether due to social distancing, illness, adverse weather, or other need to remain home. It's a flexible technology that allows you to get the support you need, even in challenging circumstances.
While physical distancing seems to be a key to slowing this health crisis, social connection continues to be a fundamental need, especially when we feel anxiety and fear. I want you to know that I am here for you to talk about your experience, guide you in somatic resourcing and meditations, and simply offer grounded, practical support.
"My friends, do not lose heart. We were made for these times. Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach. Any small, calm thing that one soul can do to help another soul, to assist some portion of this poor suffering world will help immensely. It is not given to us to know which acts or by whom, will cause the critical mass to tip toward an enduring good. One of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul."
– Clarissa Pinkola Estes
In my work as a therapist, I am dedicated to supporting couples and individuals to deepen their intimacy and personal fulfillment through embodiment. In person and online, I see clients whose main concerns are around sexuality and relationships, as well as those who are looking for support with anxiety, depression, and stress management.
My approach to sex and relationship therapy is open-minded, sex-positive, and nonjudgmental. I am passionate about supporting people to find healing in all forms of relationships, including polyamorous and LGBTQIA relationships.
