Connect to Yourself with Confidence

Why do my desires always seem to come last?

Trying to figure out what you want in life and relationships—and actually getting it—can be really hard. You might feel like you’re always putting other people first, maybe even ignoring your own needs, thinking they can wait. But deep down, you know your desires can’t wait. That tug between what you want and what you think you should want, or what others expect, can leave you feeling stuck, frustrated, and unsure of yourself.

You might second-guess what you really want, feel guilty for wanting more, or get anxious when it comes to intimacy or sex. You might constantly question yourself, or feel like you’re caught in old patterns where you don’t speak up or don’t feel heard. Sometimes, this isn’t just in your head—it’s physical too. Your body can feel tense or disconnected, sending signals your mind is ignoring.

Maybe you’ve been through relationships that left you feeling unfulfilled, or like you couldn’t be your true self. I’ve been there too. It’s painful, for sure. But it’s not a sign that something’s wrong with you—you’re human and that pain, that dissatisfaction, is a sign that you want real, authentic connection.

The good news? You’re not alone in this. And when you’re ready, it’s absolutely possible to start making changes that help you feel more alive, confident, and connected—to yourself and the people you care about.

I work too hard in life to feel this unsatisfied.

In our sessions, we get honest and real. If you’re looking for a tell-you-everything-you-want-to-hear therapist, that’s not me. I’m more of a deceptively gentle, lean in and roll-up-my-sleeves to get in there with you kind of therapist. I’ll welcome all parts of you—the awkward, the messy, the funny, and the taboo. Yep, that means we can talk about sex, weird body noises, money, fantasies, and all the stuff people normally shy away from.

In therapy with me, you don’t have to have it all figured out. I help you quiet that judgmental voice in your head and get back in touch with what your body and heart are really saying. My goal is for you to feel freedom to express yourself fully, without shame or confusion.

I’ve got years of experience, not just on paper but in the real world, working with folks who feel anxious and yearn for confidence, especially in their relationships and sexual selves. I know the challenges you’re facing, and I also know that there’s so much joy on the other side of this work. If you’re tired of feeling stuck or unhappy and ready to make some changes for yourself, I’m here to help you get there.

Embracing Connection

"You do not have to be good...You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves."

~ Mary Oliver

Can I really have what I want without feeling guilty?

Picture walking through life feeling like you trust yourself. Your inner critic might still be around, but it’s quieter now, and you listen to your body more. You know what you want—and you’re starting to say it out loud, with confidence and no people-pleasing apologies.

Your relationships might start changing in ways that feel good. Maybe you set clearer boundaries or speak up about what you really need. Hard conversations could become less scary because you believe you can handle them—and maybe even find more closeness through them.

Instead of feeling tired or disconnected, you might find a spark coming back. Sex and intimacy could become places of joy and exploration, not guilt or confusion. You’ll spot those old stories holding you back and start building new ways to care for yourself, so you can show up intimately in the ways you want to.

You'll be taking care of yourself—not as a chore, but because it feels good. And the people you love will benefit too, because when you’re thriving, your relationships have more room to grow. Of course, life will still have its ups and downs, but you might meet them with more strength, humor, and resilience.

Therapy won’t fix everything overnight, and it certainly isn’t a linear process. But it will give you space to grow and tools to live a fuller, more authentic life—and I’d be honored to help you do just that.
