This experiential class is for couples with busy lives who sometimes struggle to find the time or energy for emotional and physical intimacy, but want to build a long-lasting, meaningful connection with each other.

 

Perhaps you've already done some couples therapy, and you are hungry to learn even more about intimacy and communication in an educational setting.

 

The Embodied Intimacy Masterclass is a day-long workshop designed to help you find authentic connection with yourselves and each other, through better communication, intimacy education, and practical tools to apply to your daily life.

 

This educational workshop will equip you with tools to help bridge your communication and desire styles, and to understand what you each might need to create a meaningful, lasting connection with each other – both emotionally and sexually.

Couples will have a full day with relationship and sexuality specialist Anna Mayer, to ask questions and learn clinically-backed, inclusive, and embodied approaches to intimacy.

 

Here's what we'll do:
 

• Explore fundamental embodied communication skills

• Learn and practice embodied consent

• Engage in holistic sex re-education for both partners

• Practice whole-body communication and touch

• Create a shared language for emotional and intimate connection

• Redefine your intimacy to be meaningful and doable for both of you, in your present-moment bodies and life context

By the end of the workshop, you and your partner will have a shared language and a set of effective skills to practice and master together, to build the form of embodied intimacy that is meaningful to both of you and realistic for your daily lives.  

In this full-day workshop, you'll have the opportunity to practice new skills with your partner in real-time, with an ample lunch break for rest and integration. Touch between partners is optional, consensual, and non-sexual.

Workshop fee includes a personal 30-minute preparatory call with Anna + full-day workshop.
